Great news, snocad related!!!!!

Post by vinman »

I messaged Dan Graf yesterday to ask about hosting Snocad on another website. I just heard from him, he said he would upload snocad to another website if we could let him know where. Turns out all we had to do was ask....huh, go figure.

I've contacted Kam about putting it up on ski builders main web site. I figured that would be the most appropriate place to host it since we all have gotten our start here.

I'll post here when I hear back from Kam.

I'm juggling time zones right now communicating between Europe, the east coast of the US and western US. Waiting for it to be a decent hour in Nevada before calling Kam.

Is there any other program that is even close to being as easy as SnoCad?

unfortunately I've not heard anything back from Dan in quite some time now after a few emails. Doesn't look good.

I guess we'll have to learn how to use a real cad then ...

is there any way to "read" snocad files ? I just need to read somes measures, for a board, and I don't want to "rethink" everything

thanks anyway

Nope...
Unless you saved a design spec pdf. That will give you a small drawing of the ski, core and all relevant dimensions.
All your drawings were on Dans computer and you just have a link to them.

You don't even have a legit signature, nothing to reveal who you are and what you do...

Best of luck to you. (uneva)
