$7+ . per linear foot WOW this is $14 per board feet .... WAY too expensive.
iirc 5/4 =1 1/4" 4/4 = 1"
4/4 is a standard thickness from lumber mill that's what I usually getting. 1/4 sawing it most convenient for ski making imo
Inspection not always possible specially if you getting log milled for you once you pick it you own it lol
