hey all, we are getting ready to pic up a sub printer, im well aware this is going to be a hard learning curve but were ready. I have a good connect with an epson dealer so i would prefer to sick with them. im looking for any suggestions on machines, ink system... and ink selection? are budget is pretty flexible. pros and cons of all price points will be a consideration.

any insight as to why one of these 2 models might be better than the other.

that 9700 should work well.
everyone you talk to wants you to have 7800/9800+
You might have to make a few calls to distributors to find one that is helpful.
Jtech or sawgrass inks work well.
Buying inks will cost a chunk. see if you can get your distributor to include a ICC profile so you can print decent from day 1.
