The super sap resins look to be pretty popular but I haven't seen many people on here using the super sap clr. I can get it at a reasonable price but was wondering if anybody had been using it in a heated press?
Any other aussies on here using other super sap resins and have contact details for a supplier?

I have made almost 100 pair with super sap.
Works great non toxic and cleans up with soap and water. Awesome product.
If it gets too cold it will crystalize and you have to heat it up in the micro to get it all liquid again. Prolly wouldnt be prob in oz.
It does kick off some nasty when heat cures but thats only like 30 min.

Wait clr? No cpm for heated compression. Clr for top coat. Right?

Surfinggreen is the Australian supplier, but their website doesn't state CPM super sap as a product in stock.
You could get it from Samsara surfboards too, but it looks like it has gone off the website there too.

Yeah I've seen the kinetix stuff around, saw it on a kite board kit website too, is that your site?
Might have to try the kinetix sometime soon. The reason I was asking about the super sap clr is because it is easily available and used heaps on surfboards but not sure about a heated snowboard layup.
I'll keep searching and if I order some I'll let you know man.

Thanks heaps for all the replies, that clears it all up for me. I guess I'll keep looking for the cpm then. Falls, I remember seeing the cpm on both those sites only about 6 months ago but noticed the same as you, it seems to be off the list. I'll email them and see what they say.

Use CPM compression molding and CLR for topcoating veneer.

If you are talking with them and it makes any difference I would be interested in a kit too (approx 7kg resin if they have one of that size). Might make it worth their while to order some more volume?

No color change that I've seen. I think it is advertised as UV stable.

Edit. Just check thier website and yes they say it is UV stable.

CLR is what you want to use from entropy if you don't have heat in your press. That's what I used before I had heat and it worked great. It will still tint a wee little. (you'll only notice it if you're super anal) but it isn't drastic by any means.

I use CPM but got told by Jaime from entropy in Spain that CLR also would work under pressure and heat but have never tried it. But he recommends CPM... so, well, dunno? test it.

I used 100/1000 from Entropy also under pressure and heat and had fantastic results.

I got a response from surfing green. They have had a few requests for cpm so they are going to get some on their next order. Unfortunately they only just got a shipment so they said it will be a few months before the next order.
