I just built a modified metal tube bender. Just a tube bender with a groove cut into it like the one seen here http://boardcrafter.com/content/view/24/34/

Super easy to make, cost me $17. Seems to work well on the scrap I playec with.

I cut a second groove to hold the end of the edge on the brace a bit better.

I have bought pre bend edges..It takes me more than one hour to bend the pre-bend edge to fit the bottom. One the otherhand I bend the tail part not pre bend in 10 minutes.

Now I bend the pre-bending to strait and then bend again.. in 30 min I bend the complete edge. I use nippers, easy and fast.
