Well lads,
Pressed my long awaited split board yesterday.
I am still a rank amateur so please don't be to harsh :)
Dtrain, I stole your cofee stirrer idea. Worked a treat.

If not, it's a vac build. I made a boardcrafter mold which worked a treat. I heated the mold with a gas turbine heater... Yup, ghetto. and the board is completely flocked (for now, see picture below and laugh all you like).

Took my splitty for a test ride. Skinned out of Falls Creek (Australia) to a place called pretty valley. It has a hut and drop toilet. Camped overnight and then skinned him.
I took it for a few runs and am really happy with it. One question for all the splitters out there. Do you get movement between your bindings when riding? It doesn't seem to affect riding at all, just noticed.
