vacuum press presure, will a fridge compressor work

hi i was wondering if the presure from a fridge pump/compresor will provide enough presure to press skis.

i heard of this as well and i heard that it worked quite well ... on the grafsnowboards site they use a fridgepump as far as i remember well.

It would work. Get a vacuum controller and make the reservoir/manifold system (see links) and you can set it up to switch on and off so its not running during the whole cure time. The controller will let you adjust the level of vacuum up to the maximum that the system can pull.

I have found that these guys have some of the best prices for gauges and the brass parts. Better than Home Depot or other local suppliers I have.
