cant get ahold of any fire hose
i cant seem to get my hands on any fire hose would anyone have any i could buy? or any ideas how to get some
I sent this to powdercow as a PM. It might help you out if you don't know any fireman. I found the info from one of the threads out here.
Have a look at http://www.mcmaster.com/ page 207. They list a 6.16” blue low pressure hose really cheap ~$2.20 / ft.. Its rate at 60 PSI @ 70 F. I haven’t check the fire department sources yet. I’m still going to work with a vac press for the time being, but this looks like a good deal for new hose. They also list a 5” high pressure hose for $11.54 / ft.

I used the low pressure lay flat hose stated above. Got it from Mcmaster.com.
It worked out fine, but be careful with sharp edges in your press frame ( even wood edges) because i'm not sure the hose will hold 60psi when forced against a sharp corner.
Personnally, i pressed my first skis at 30psi. It's low pressure but still twice what a vacuum press can produce.
