4" fire hose

Post by kronc »

HI

I am having a hard time getting hold of a fire hose lager than 4". Will this diameter be large enough for a press?

I have two bladders... one from 5 inch hose and one from 4 inch hose. I use the 4 inch bladder most often (smaller and easier to work with). It works well for skis to about 130 mm at the tip. I use a 1 1/2 inch bladder space with the 4 inch bladder (my upper mold is vertically adjustable). I switch to the bigger bladder for my wider skis. Of course, if you incorporate a cat track in your press, a 4 inch hose would work for a wider ski.
