Core profile

Post by breid19 »

i just ordered material form durasuf and am ready to start profiling my core. The plan is to use a maple core with on layer of 19oz triax top and bottom the a ptex topsheet. I would like to get a ski that is similar to the 175 cm pocket rockets I once used. Does anyone have a good starting point for a core profile that would suit this? I looking at using these in an AT setup so the boot center will be back from center slightly.

Also can anyone recommend an alternative material to VDS (snowboard materials is currently out of stock).

Thanks alot

I used a maple core (vertically laminated) and had 11mm underfoot and approx. 2-3mm at tip and tail. Seemed to work fine but I used Biaxial carbon so not sure how relevant it is.

Sorry I can't be more help.
