May i introduce my latest project:
This Ski is a combination of traditional and reverse sidecut ski, that hopefully preserves the advantages of both designs. The ski center under the boot is 135mm wide:
The topsheet is bamboo veneer.
Here's the airex core for the skitip (proved to be lightweight and strong with my last year's ski):
The next picture shows my way to improve the edgehold an compensate the different heights of edge and base:
I use a mixture of resin+aerosil+cotton flakes
Here you can see my vaccumsetup for pressing:

the bamboo looks really cool! great work! where did you get it, how thick is it and how much did you have to pay for it?
plywood freeride industries - go ply, ride wood!
Bamboo starts to get more and more available. I got one sheet (200x40cm) for 12,-EUR from a veneer online-shop in germany (ripping it from Bogner skis is another way - but a little more expensive ). It is 0.7mm thick - weight about 100g/ski.
Yes, the skis have 0 camber and a 25cm long 8cm high shovel.
