Hey everyone, I have been lurking around this site for about a month now and finally decided to register. A couple of buddies and I have decided to make our own skis, and have set a goal to get them done before the end of the season. We've also decided to get our press done by the end of this month..so this brings me to our press idea...
..You guys are probably gonna think i'm kind of nuts for this idea but i'll give it a shot. We wanted to build a press using TGI's similar to sivart7208's press. The catch though, is that we want to also incorporate a cat track into the press using some sort of metal or PVC pipe. Is this a little too much for a wood built press? Any feedback would be great. Thanks.
