Would you consider a Cedar Core

Cedar cores were once used in surfboards, I was told and they are still used in hand made boats. Zia skis uses them and says they light and responsive.

What do you think? Would you use a Cedar Core?

when I first got interested in building a pair of skis i met with this guy and he only used cedar for all skis and borads he makes. He milled the wood from his property (like Gman?). However he uses carbon fiber instead of fiberglass.
