With them the brace that ties the two gantry uprights together below the table isnt neccessary and then you can just brace the table however you like. when ever we get around to fin...

If you could build mostof them in house i bet you could easly make money if you didnt get raped on whatever you outsourced. If i was going to build a few basegrinders, using referb motors, and barebones electronics i know i could build them for around 1-1.5k each, there isnt alot of parts there. two...

We will use it to profile cores, its back apart again so we can convert it to leaner bearings and rack and pinion on all 3 axis. It will work fine for it The wood is weak, i would suggest going with a aluminium/steel build right away. we are slowly replacing everything with both, except for the cutt...

Our router is based off a free design called the JGRO, plans for it can be found at cnczone.com or maby though your fav search engine. We have somewhere around 1,500.00 usd into this so far and its good for what it is. An all aluminium build would be much better, id reccomend that over a wood / mdf ...

I got 5 of their poplar snowboard cores last year.

They are ok, the profiling is very rough and took alot of sanding to clean up

I thought about Teflon as a snowboard base, i had some scraps at my normal job and realized just how low a coefficient of friction it has. Only down side is its VERY susceptible to damage. The small scrape a rock does to a uhmwpe base would cut right into the lowest laminate layer if your base was T...

I liked the weights aswell. I may have to build something like that for myself, would beat having to space the core off the table to make room for the 10,000 clamps i tend to use keeping the edges in place
