I finally made it!!!!!!!
I pressed my first ski. But I couldnt check how they are, because I startet to press them on sunday morning and I had to leave in the evening. But I hope that I will return in about two weeks! I'm really looking forward to that date!
But I had 2 problems:
1. The edges didn't fit perfectly. And the edges popped of the base as you explained it in the tutorial. I glued them several times, but everytime I made a test, they popped off again. I managed the problem by simply putting a nail at the ends of the ski (see pic). The nail hold the edge on place. My opinion is that it is better to bend the edges perfectly to the mold. But maybe it depends on the used press.
2. The time was running away. I used Epoxy L + L, that means 40 minutes time. After 41 minutes I closed the press....
Guys, thank you for your help! Without you and skibuilders.com, I would never had build a ski!
I made some pictures of the layup. check out

I hope after 2 weeks in the press, that everything is fine with the ski.

On Sunday I have tested my new ski. I only finished one ski, so I combined it with a 1080. (171cm)
It really worked well!!!
I want to thank you for your tutorials, advice, pictures and materials! Especially to davide. without your edges and base I would have never build the ski.
