topshheet Dye sublimation

Post by Allianceskis »

Hi Does anyone know the recommended temperature to use in the printing press when dye sublimating? Im using UHMW plasting designed for dye sublimating and is 0.76mm thick.
The last attempt, the plastic came out all wavy after going under the heat of the printing press.
Thanks a lot Matt

It's pretty hot - like 150C for a short cycle.
Brazen had a thread on here somewhere that he had worked out a lower temp longer press time method that worked well.
Don't wait up, I'm off to kill Summer....
